Working in a brand-new, fully equipped commercial kitchen, you'll take ownership of daily operations, lead staff, and ensure residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to individual needs.

  • Work in a modern, state-of-the-art aged care kitchen
  • Stable, permanent position in a respected not-for-profit organisation
  • Genuine leadership role with a small, supportive team
  • Salary packaging benefits available (NFP – increase your take-home pay)
  • Strong focus on quality, dignity, and resident wellbeing

Your impact

You'll play a key role in enhancing residents' daily experience by ensuring meals are:

  • Nutritious, appealing, and tailored to individual dietary needs

You'll also:

  • Lead and support kitchen staff in day-to-day operations
  • Manage stock, ordering, and inventory control
  • Oversee rostering and workflow planning
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and aged care standards
  • Promoting dining with dignity

About you

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
  • Experience in aged care, healthcare, or high-volume catering kitchens
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills
  • Confident managing stock, rosters, and kitchen operations
  • Passion for delivering high-quality meals to older Australians

Requirements

  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • COVID-19 vaccination compliance
  • Full Australian working rights

What you'll gain

This is a rare opportunity to step into a stable weekday leadership role where your work directly improves residents' quality of life every single day — in a calm, modern environment designed for both staff and residents to thrive.
