Imperial Stone Industries has over 25 years of experience in the stone trade.
We specialise in the manufacture and installation of high-end stonework for residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne.
Due to continued demand, we are seeking two experienced full-time Stonemasons to join our busy team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our warehouse in Sunshine North, your main responsibilities will involve the manufacture and fabrication of pre-cut stone for a variety of residential and commercial projects.
This role is ideal for an experienced stonemason who takes pride in quality workmanship, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently while contributing to a productive team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must have at least two years of experience in the stone trade, including:
- Cutting stone using air and electric grinders.
- Polishing and honing stone surfaces.
- Assembling edgework and mitre joins using adhesives.
- Reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Carrying out stone fabrication tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience operating CNC machinery or waterjet cutting equipment is an advantage but not essential.
