SALARY $79435.00 p.a. base salary ($40.20 per hour)
DUTIES
- Detecting and diagnosing faults in vehicles
- Dismantling and removing faulty parts
- Replacing and repairing defective parts
- Perform scheduled maintenance services
- Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts and components
- Perform engine overhauls
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management
- Document all repairs, perform repairs to manufacturers specifications
- Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet
- Perform final checks on vehicles
- Follow occupational health & safety
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Hold trade certificate or qualification in mechanical trade and have at least 1 year of work experience in the mechanical/automotive industry.
