Security: Ongoing work with a major national essential business Maintenance Fitter - The Role Execute preventative mechanical maintenance and respond promptly to operational breakdown calls .
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics .
Assist with machinery installations, modifications, fabrication, and shutdown projects .
Complete safety checks (TAKE 5) and adhere to lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures .
Read and interpret technical drawings and machinery documentation .

- Trade
Qualification: Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or Cert III in Engineering equivalent .
Experience: 2+ years post-trade experience, ideally in food manufacturing, processing, or fast-paced industrial environments .
Technical
Ability: Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical systems and ability to work with work planning/scheduling .
Safety
Focus: White Card (Construction Induction) and a strong commitment to safe work practices .
