Mombasa Day Spa & Hair Lounge is an award-winning beauty and wellness destination located in the heart of Alice Springs. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Beauty Therapist to join our professional and growing team on a full-time basis.
Position Details
- Position: Beauty Therapist
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 38 hours per week
- Location: Alice Springs, NT
- Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a range of professional beauty therapy treatments while maintaining exceptional customer service standards and contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform professional facial treatments and skin therapies
- Conduct body treatments including body scrubs, wraps and massage treatments
- Provide waxing, tinting, lash and brow services
- Perform manicures and pedicures
- Recommend and retail professional skincare and beauty products
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment and hygiene standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Rebook clients and assist in achieving salon performance targets
- Complete daily salon operational duties
- Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
Skills and Experience Required
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Minimum two years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience providing beauty therapy treatments in a salon, spa or clinic environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High level of professionalism and personal presentation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Availability to work Saturdays and late evenings as required
