Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber to join their team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, offering a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse commercial plumbing projects across Brisbane. As a Commercial Plumber, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality plumbing solutions to our commercial clients, ensuring projects are completed to specification, on time.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems in commercial properties, including pipework, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with building codes.
- Diagnose plumbing problems and implement effective solutions, minimising downtime for commercial clients.
- Collaborate with other trades and construction teams on site to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on projects.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
- Provide advice to clients regarding plumbing solutions and maintenance best practices.
- Ensure all work meets relevant Australian plumbing standards and local council regulations.
What we're looking for:
- Current plumbing qualification or recognised apprenticeship completion in plumbing.
- Valid plumber's license and registration with relevant NSW authorities.
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years working on commercial plumbing projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with proven capability to liaise with clients and other tradespeople.
- A commitment to health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work.
- Current First Aid certification and Working at Heights certification (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
