As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will being your teaching knowledge and passion for early learning to a play-based educational program that supports every child's learning, development and wellbeing. Working closely with educators and families, you will use intentional teaching, thoughful assessment and reflective practice to help children become confident and capable learners.
What we're looking for
Implementing and evaluating a play-based curriculum guided by the Early Learning Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
Using intentional teaching to extend children's thinking, curiosity, creatively and problem-solving skills
Observing and assessing children's progress, using this knowledge to plan meaningful learning experiences that reflect their strengths, interets and individual needs
Creating inclusive and engaging learning environments that support children's agency, particpation and sense of belonging.
Building strong partnerships with families to incorporate their knowledge, culture and aspirations into the educational program
supporting children's transition to school by nuturing their confidence, independence, social skills and enthusiam and continous improvement.
Upholding child safety, service policies and professional responsibilities, while continuing to strengthen your teaching practice through professional learning.
