J&L Insulation Services is an industry-leading insulation and sheet metal company with a rapidly expanding crew and a growing pipeline of projects across Sydney.
We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Laggers/Sheet metal workers to join our team.
You will work on tier one construction projects including Rail Infrastructure, Data Centres and Water Infrastructure and be confident working independently, understanding lagging and cladding requirements thoroughly, and taking pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Insulation to various systems
- Passive fire stopping and penetration sealing
- Reading plans and specifications
- Using job management software
- Preparing work areas and materials prior to commencing installation tasks
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
- Delivering safe, compliant, high-quality work
What we're looking for
- Extensive lagging experience is essential
- Strong practical knowledge of lagging and cladding procedures on tier one construction projects
- Can identify and rectify non-compliant installations
- Can read and interpret construction plans
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong eye for detail and quality
- Take safety and compliance seriously
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Hold a current driver's licence and White Card
- Strong work ethic and take pride in work
