Are you an experienced dental assistant who loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident? Looking for a supportive team, a modern practice and an opportunity to grow your skills?
JJ Smiles Dental and Implant Centre is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our Oxenford team. We are looking for someone with previous dental assisting experience who is ready to contribute their skills and continue learning. We offer ongoing training and support, including the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of treatments, including dental implants.
This is a casual position with flexible hours, with the opportunity to grow into a part-time role for the right candidate.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel at ease
- Providing chairside support to our dentists during a variety of treatments
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
- Maintaining accurate patient records using dental software
- Monitoring and restocking dental supplies
- Working closely with the team to provide a positive patient experience
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred
- A friendly, caring manner and a commitment to excellent patient care
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisation and the ability to manage a variety of tasks
- Confidence using computers; experience with D4W is an advantage, but not required
- A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to be part of a team
- An interest in learning and developing your skills
