Jindalee Farming Company are looking for a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Farm Hand to join our dryland grain farming operation. You’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the farm, assisting with a range of farming activities throughout the season and contributing to the success of our operation.
Key responsibilities
- Planting, spraying, harvesting, and general preparation of cropping paddocks
- Assist with grain storage & handling
- Perform general farm maintenance, including infrastructure upkeep and repairs
- Operate, service and maintain a range of agricultural machinery and equipment
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment in line with WHS policies and company procedures
About you
- Valid driver's license (C class) - unrestricted manual license (essential)
- A HR or HC class license will be looked upon favourably, or willing to obtain
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- General mechanical skills and ability to maintain and repair plant and equipment
- Ability to safely meet the physical demands of the role
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak times
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Our main crops include sorghum, mungbeans, wheat, barley and chickpeas. We utilize a controlled traffic farming system and a modern fleet of machinery to support efficient and productive farming practices.
