The main purpose of this role is to:
- Manage the warehouse team and drive the performance of the team with a focus on accuracy.
- Identify optimum staffing levels across the shift to meet cost and service KPI’s.
- Monitor productivity and accuracy of all team members to ensure optimum performance is delivered daily whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
- Use and update the warehouse management system & RF scanners.
- Be a hands-on leader, not just sitting behind a desk.
- Ensure customer satisfaction regarding warehouse-related customer delivery issues.
- Maintain delivery and inventory accuracy.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years warehouse team leader/supervisor experience.
- Be a people leader.
- Be experienced with warehouse management systems.
- Be a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Be a problem solver and have a customer service mentality.
- Know what it takes to be successful and look to support the site manager in the general day-to-day running of a fast-paced warehouse.
A knowledge of 3PL/retail is a bonus, but not essential. This position will be offering a highly competitive salary as well as several other benefits!
