About the Role
As an Associate IT Procurement Officer, you'll provide operational support to the IT Procurement team and help ensure JBS employees across Australia have access to the technology and equipment they need to perform their roles. This role offers hands-on exposure to procurement, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination and technology asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with IT purchasing and procurement activities
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Liaise with suppliers to source products and obtain pricing
- Maintain inventory records and stock control
- Conduct stocktakes and inventory audits
- Prepare and configure laptops, PCs and other equipment
- Assist with basic device setup and troubleshooting
- Coordinate equipment shipments between JBS locations
- Support technology asset tracking and record management
- Provide general administrative support to the IT Procurement function
