About the Role
As a key member of our workshop team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Logbook servicing to manufacturer standards
- Experience with various makes and model vehicles
- Brake, steering and suspension repairs
- General mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Ordering parts through Repco Navigator and other supplier platforms
- Monitoring workshop workflow and assisting with job allocation
- Maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and workmanship
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is more than just a mechanic — we want a reliable team player who takes pride in their work. You’ll ideally have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced workshop
- Excellent attention to detail and high‑quality workmanship
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A reliable, punctual and positive attitude
- Availability to work Saturdays when required
