Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Leading Hand - Formwork / Carpenter with Steel fixing & Concrete experience to join our team in Cairns, QLD.
As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of formwork structures, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met throughout all projects.
- What you'll be doing
- Managing & supervising a small team
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork materials to specification
- Installing formwork structures and ensuring they are securely braced and aligned
- Maintaining and repairing existing formwork components
- Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate formwork activities
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols on site
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Leading Hand with expererance in Formwork / Concrete & Steel fixing with a minimum of 2 year in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of formwork techniques and building codes
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Current construction industry certifications and licenses
- Must have own transport and driver's license
