Jamaica Blue Kotara is looking for a Barista / Cafe All Rounder to join the team. The successful applicant will:
- be passionate and have barista experience in a fast paced cafe
- have a solid understanding of barista concepts including extraction, dosage and latte art
- be able to work independently on the coffee machine and handle busy rushes by themselves
- be willing to help run coffees, clear tables, serve on the register and do dishes
- experience with kitchen short order cooking is a bonus!
The position requires:
- commitment to being reliable for ongoing regular shifts with limited unavailabilities (uni students will need to be able to commit to the shifts when uni goes back)
- available to work Nov, Dec and Jan with no request for time off during this period
- 4 - 5 shifts per week including one weekend day as required
- flexible working hours as the cafe opens 7:45-5:15 daily
