ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER-IMMEDIATE START
Established Food Manufacturing Business | Stable & Long-Term Opportunity | Supportive Team
Mon–Fri | 30–35 hrs per week with the opportunity to progress to Full Time hours as you become established with in the business.

We are an established and growing Australian food manufacturing business seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounts Payable Officer to join our office team.
This is an important hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, has strong attention to detail and is confident communicating with customers and Suppliers regarding accounts and payments.
You will be joining a friendly, close-knit team in a busy working environment where reliability, accuracy and a positive attitude are genuinely valued.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing accounts payable and supplier accounts
Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and payment runs accurately and on time.
Reconciling supplier statements, resolving invoice discrepancies and responding to accounts payable queries.
Maintaining accurate supplier records
Supporting week-end activities, reporting requirements.
General accounts and administrative duties as required.
You may also be required to:
Call Customers for orders and accurately process their orders via phone and or email
Handle incoming phone enquiries and emails
Have a well-developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
Provide administration support as required
Generate daily customer invoices
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized and confident, with a professional but personable approach to dealing with customers.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable, or a similar accounts position
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
The ability to prioritise and work independently in a busy environment
Experience with QuickBooks Online would be highly regarded
A practical, proactive approach and willingness to assist the wider team when required
