About the Role
Our client is a QLD government organisation based in the Brisbane CBD.
They are currently seeking an AO3 Finance Officer to come in and work with them on a 3 month temp assignment with potential for extension or permanency.
- Required Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar
- Proven experience with Technology One/Tech One system (Essential)
- Experience with Expense Me system (Desirable, not essential)
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Processing & Reconciliations : Execute accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly bank reconciliations accurately and within designated timeframes.
- Administrative & Policy Compliance : Carry out day-to-day administrative tasks in accordance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and statutory guidelines.
- Data Analysis & FMIS Maintenance : Prepare, analyse, and input financial data into the computerised Financial Management Information System (FMIS).
- Client Service & Issue Resolution : Act as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries, delivering professional customer service and escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Operational Flexibility : Undertake additional tasks and ad-hoc duties as directed to support broader organisational and financial objectives.
