Steel Frame Solutions, part of the JG King Building Group, is seeking motivated
Factory Production Labourers to join our team in Ballarat on both day and afternoon shifts.
We manufacture quality steel frames and trusses for commercial and residential construction, and we're looking for people who take pride in their work, value safety and enjoy being part of a team.
About the role
Working across our Roll-Forming, Trusses and Walls, you'll play an important role in manufacturing, assembling and preparing steel building components for delivery to construction sites.
No two days need to be the same, with opportunities to develop new skills and gain experience across different areas of our production operation.
Key responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and power tools to manufacture steel frames, trusses and building components.
- Assist with assembling and fabricating steel wall frames and roof trusses to specifications.
- Handle, move and prepare materials for production and dispatch.
- Prepare, label, pack and secure finished products for delivery to building sites.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with production, dispatch and other team members to meet production schedules.
About you

- Previous experience in manufacturing, factory work, steel fabrication, construction or a similar environment will be highly regarded.
A forklift licence and experience operating factory machinery would also be advantageous.
