Our client in Melbourne is looking for ETL Testing for a contract role of 5+ months.
Job Description:
- Data Migration and Data Warehousing Testing: Conduct thorough testing of data migration and data warehousing processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, data encryption, etc.
- SQL Query Writing: Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations.
- Test Automation: Utilize Python or other scripting languages to automate test processes and improve testing efficiency.
- Test Data Management: Create test data based on transformation rules in JIRA.
- Test Management: Create and maintain test cases, validation scripts, test strategy, test plan.
- SDLC Cycle: Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Test Management: Manage and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Track and report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Experience in the Insurance domain is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment, Jira, and Confluence.
