Location:
Port of Brisbane, QLD
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, trailers and shipping containers.
- Move, stack and organise palletised goods, heavy freight and industrial equipment.
- Assist with container loading and unloading.
- Handle oversized and irregularly shaped cargo where required.
- Conduct daily forklift pre-start inspections.
- Ensure freight is correctly positioned, secured and stored.
Selection Criteria:
- Current and valid LF Forklift Licence - essential.
- Previous forklift experience in freight, transport, logistics or industrial warehousing.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks.
- Good understanding of load handling and restraints.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently and as part of a team.
