The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Nominee with a background in domestic and commercial maintenance to work on an 8/6 roster from Perth Airport to Roy Hill Mine Village in WA’s Pilbara. In this role, you’ll carry out maintenance and preventative works across the village and mine site facilities, contributing to the smooth running of our operations. Working 12-hour days in demanding, remote environments means solid fitness and resilience are essential - if you’re driven, self‑motivated, and ready for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

The Plumbing Nominee plays a dual role, performing trade‑level plumbing and gas fitting tasks, while also providing leadership, supervision, and compliance oversight for the plumbing and Trades Assistant team. This role ensures adherence to relevant WA plumbing regulations and supports the planning and delivery of daily maintenance activities.

  • Lead the Plumbing Team – Supervise plumbers and trade assistants, keep safety and quality front and centre, run toolbox talks, mentor the crew, and make sure every job is done right the first time.
  • Plan, Coordinate & Improve – Work with the Maintenance Planner to schedule and prioritise works, ensure labour and materials are ready to go, and identify smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • Compliance & Technical Oversight – Stay across WA plumbing legislation, sign off licensed plumbing works, manage compliance reporting, and ensure systems like backflow and hot water are maintained to standard.
  • Manage Assets, Stock & Client Relations – Oversee tools, materials, maintenance records, and contractor coordination while representing the team professionally and minimising disruption to operations.
  • Actively promote safety and high hygiene standards
  • Foster teamwork, communication, and accountability

  • WA Plumbing Contractor Licence Nominee Registration (or eligibility)
  • Experience leading plumbing maintenance teams
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards
  • Excellent fault‑finding, repair, and compliance documentation skills

  • Familiarity with water treatment systems, RO plants, and asset lifecycles (Desirable)
  • CMMS/FMS scheduling experience (Desirable)
  • Current C‑Class Manual Driver’s License.
  • National Police Check (no older than 12 months)
  • Ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test

What You Will Get in Return
