As the technical lead for the Workato platform, you will combine hands-on engineering expertise with architecture leadership, platform governance and stakeholder engagement.

You will establish reusable integration patterns, guide platform adoption and support the modernisation of integrations from legacy middleware to contemporary cloud and i Paa S solutions.

Working closely with architecture, delivery, application and business teams, you will help simplify the technology landscape and improve the speed, consistency and reliability of integration delivery.

  • Establish effective monitoring, logging, alerting and observability, supported by robust error handling, retry, resilience, disaster recovery and performance optimisation practices.
  • Manage deployment and application lifecycle activities across Development, Test, UAT and Production environments, supported by Dev Ops and CI/CD practices.
  • Partner with internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors and the Platform Owner to support onboarding, governance, roadmap planning, go-live, transition to BAU and major incident resolution

What you will bring

  • 8+ years of integration experience, including greenfield implementations, migration programs and the re-platforming of legacy integrations to cloud or i Paa S solutions.
  • Strong hands-on Workato expertise across recipe development, deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimisation and platform operations.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership capability spanning solution design, effort estimation, stakeholder engagement, mentoring and delivery governance.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, ETL and messaging frameworks.
  • Experience implementing secure and resilient integrations using OAuth, API keys, encryption, secrets management, access controls and other data protection practices.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, together with experience integrating Saa S applications and working with MFT protocols such as SFTP and FTPS.
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL practices, incident, problem and change management, SLA management, platform upgrades, disaster recovery planning and production support.
