About the business

As the business scales, it’s creating a dedicated PR and communications function for the first time, to build its profile with media, intermediaries and the broader market. This is newly created role, with the opportunity to create and own the PR and communications strategy from day one, and as the first hire into the function, help bed in the foundations of what it becomes.

  • Develop and execute PR plans and calendars aligned to business and marketing priorities
  • Write and develop thought leadership content, bylines and spokesperson commentary for internal and external stakeholders

  • Establish the processes, templates and ways of working that set the function up for the long term
  • Work closely with marketing and compliance teams to ensure all external communications meet regulatory requirements

  • Confident working with senior stakeholders, including spokespeople and executives
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment around financial services communications
