In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day functions of the investment team, ensuring trade settlements, portfolio reconciliations, and compliance monitoring are carried out smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support
- Manage end-to-end trade processes, ensuring accurate execution, settlement, and reporting.
- Conduct daily cash and position reconciliations, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
- Oversee corporate actions, dividends, and interest payments, ensuring correct handling.
- Data & Reporting
- Maintain precise records of portfolio transactions and holdings.
- Prepare detailed investment and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in automating data flows and reporting to enhance efficiency.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
- Support risk management initiatives by identifying and escalating potential operational risks.
- Monitor investment mandates and guidelines to maintain compliance.
- Process Enhancement
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine operational workflows and minimize inefficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining manual processes and implementing solutions.
- Participate in system testing and upgrades to optimize investment operations.
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners on operational matters.
- Work closely with portfolio managers, accountants, and IT specialists to ensure seamless operations.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum three years of experience in a similar role within a fund management or administration environment.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, risk, and compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of funds and performance management.
- Ability to develop robust control frameworks.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
