AO4 Regional Support Coordinator
Location: Cairns
Contract: 16 November 2026 – 12 February 2027
Hourly Rate: $60.05 + Super
We are seeking an experienced Regional Support Coordinator to join a Queensland Government team based in Cairns. This role is responsible for providing high-level support to senior leadership, coordinating a team of Business Support Officers, and ensuring the smooth delivery of regional business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to senior leaders.
- Coordinate and support a team of Business Support Officers.
- Manage correspondence, reporting, meeting coordination and action tracking.
- Prepare reports, presentations and business documentation.
- Liaise with stakeholders to monitor priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support office systems, Microsoft Teams and workplace technology.
- Contribute to process improvements and business support initiatives.
About You
- Experience in a business support, executive support or coordination role.
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.
