We are looking for an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team.

We are a Waste Management company located in Crestmead, Brisbane, providing sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, and large corporate entities across Southeast Queensland.

About the role
We are looking for a hands-on, physically fit individual with lifting capability >25kgs to join our team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste
- Multi stop collections across Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast
- Practice safe and correct manual handling
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations
- Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out, is of a high standard
- Confirm all service dockets are signed, photos taken, and present all documentation to the client and then to the operations team (daily requirement)
Your skills and experience
- We are looking for a well-presented, high energy, hands-on individual with a clean driving record and excellent time management, attention to detail (completion of job ticket information), and customer service skills.
- Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
- Must have at least 2 years experience as an MR Driver and a valid MR Licence – desirable HR truck licence
- Must be over 25 years - due to insurances
- MUST BE Physically fit (lifting capability >25kgs)
- Be computer savvy; we use an iPad for our job tickets - attention to detail a must.
- Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Gold Coast & Brisbane roads
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong time management skills and MUST BE reliable
- Be committed to achieving high standards of compliance and customer service
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role; excellent communication
- Knowledge of handling and packaging requirements for Hazardous Packaged Waste and Dangerous Goods - desirable
- Police Check clearance
