This position focuses on enhancing internal developer experience within the Platform Engineering team. The successful candidate will design and maintain Go-based backend services and CLI tools that automate workflows, manage access, and enforce engineering standards across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Building high-performance Go APIs, microservices, and CLI tools to reduce friction and automate processes.
- Designing orchestration systems connecting internal and external platforms.
- Creating governance automation for repository and service management.
- Developing self-service infrastructure interfaces.
- Operating and optimizing Kubernetes/EKS-hosted backend systems.
Required qualifications:
- Professional backend engineering experience using Go.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Kubernetes service development experience.
- RESTful API and microservices architecture knowledge.
- Database design and optimization skills.
- AWS infrastructure management capability.
- GitHub platform proficiency.
- Experience with performance profiling tools.
- Internal developer tooling or CLI application development background.
