About the Role
This dual-function role is ideal for someone with experience in estimating and/or project administration who enjoys variety, responsibility, and seeing projects through end-to-end. Glazing experience is not essential—we will provide all necessary training.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates, RFIs and tender submissions for residential and commercial glazing projects
- Review and interpret construction drawings, project specifications, programs and engineering details
- Review and administer commercial construction contracts
- Coordinate projects from award through to completion, including scheduling, material ordering and site coordination
- Prepare and manage contract variations, monthly progress claims and project documentation
- Monitor project costs, budgets, reporting and timelines
- Liaise with builders, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to our office, fabrication and installation teams
- Utilise V6 glazing software and other internal systems (training provided)
About You
You are organised, detail-oriented and confident working across estimating and project administration. You communicate well, enjoy working within a small team and take pride in delivering quality outcomes. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in construction estimating and/or contracts administration or the glazing industry
- A solid understanding of the construction industry, including programming and contracts
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience using spreadsheets for estimating, costing and project tracking
- Excellent communication and client-management skills
- Strong time-management abilities and confidence handling multiple projects
- A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to teamwork
- A willingness to learn the glazing trade and understand its technical requirements
