The Opportunity

- Translate sustainability objectives into practical actions for project and operational teams.
- Provide practical advice on environmental risk, compliance and project environmental management.
- Support environmental assurance, incidents and corrective actions where required.
- Develop practical tools, guidance, communications and training to build capability across the business.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental management, sustainability, engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in environment and/or sustainability roles within construction, infrastructure, utilities, civil works, mining or another operational environment.
- Strong foundations in practical environmental management and environmental risk.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering sustainability initiatives or improvement programs.
- Working knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency, waste/circular economy or other sustainability concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with environment or sustainability performance data.
- The ability to turn environmental and sustainability objectives into practical actions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
