We’re looking for a Community Support Worker based in Merriwa to join our integratedliving team and provide meaningful, person-centred support to clients in their homes and local community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, making a difference every day and being part of their local community.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting clients with personal care, medication and daily routines
- Assisting with shopping, appointments and household tasks/domestic assistance
- Supporting clients to access their local community
- Providing companionship and building meaningful connections
- Helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing
- Travelling to Cassilis when required to support clients
What we’re looking for
- We’re looking for someone who is caring, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting others.
- To be considered for this role, you must:
- Live in Merriwa
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar
- Be available a minimum of Monday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Be willing and able to travel to Cassilis when required
- Hold a current Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Hold a valid First Aid, CPR, Working with Children check, Police Check/NDIS clearance
- Have, or be willing to obtain, the required pre-employment checks
