Hands on role with real influence on site safety culture.
Respected, growing builder with a reputation built on trust.
Macneil Group was founded on expertise, integrity and trust, and it's grown the way the best builders do, through word of mouth, repeat clients and relationships that outlast any single build. Working across commercial, residential and investor led developments through to healthcare, industrial and government projects, Macneil Group has earned a rare position in the market, and its people are a big part of why.
As the Project Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Human Resources Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in keeping Macneil Group's projects safe, compliant and to the standard the business is known for. You'll report to the Manager and work closely with management, project supervisors, employees, subcontractors and regulators. A typical day at Macneil Group will see you:
- Maintaining and continuously improving the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
- Developing and monitoring Project Specific Quality Plans for construction projects.
- Coordinating site audits and inspections, then driving corrective actions through to close out.
- Supporting incident investigations, return to work and injury management.
- Keeping registers, subcontractor prequalification and inductions up to date.
- Preparing safety alerts and toolbox meetings that site teams actually use.
- Liaising with WorkSafe Victoria and other regulators where required.
- Supporting HR activities as your experience allows.
About You:
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent, backed by real hands on experience in a QHSE coordination or administration role.
- A good grasp of WHS legislation, contractor management and compliance, and comfortable with electronic quality, safety and document systems and advanced Microsoft Office.
- Experience in residential or commercial construction is preferred, but it's not essential if you know how to get safety done in a practical way.
- HR administration experience is a bonus.
- Organised, detail focused and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision, with the discretion to handle sensitive information properly.
- A genuine team player who communicates clearly with site crews, subcontractors, management and external stakeholders.
