Inspirations Paint Penrith currently has a permanent Sales Assistant / Storeperson position available.
This position will be required Monday – Friday from 6:30am – 4:30pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Following our “Inspirations Way” procedures
- Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers
- Tinting and mixing paint, colour advice and matching
- Paint and accessory deliveries as required
- Store presentation, stock management and housekeeping
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Experience / Attributes:
- A background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment would be an advantage
- Practical experience in home improvement projects desirable
- Proven customer service and sales experience with a strong knowledge of sales processes
- Able to problem solve using advanced communication skills
- A willingness to learn and continually improve
- Able to contribute and work in a team environment
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Basic computer skills
We are looking for the right motivated individual with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude and who is able to hustle on a busy shop floor.
While experience is desirable it is not essential. Heavy lifting is an inherent requirement of the role so you need to be able to lift up to approximately 20kg.
