  • You should be comfortable writing Python and solving technical problems while also gathering requirements, participating in customer conversations, and explaining your approach clearly.
  • Candidates coming from ERP, enterprise application implementation, professional services, or other complex software deployment environments should translate particularly well, even without previous airline industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure applications for new customer implementations.
  • Build and modify software with a strong focus on Python.
  • Integrate applications within complex customer environments.
  • Gather and translate client requirements into technical solutions.

  • Explain technical decisions clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Learn proprietary programming languages and technologies.
  • Support ongoing improvements to customer solutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers throughout implementation.
  • Travel to customer locations periodically as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent programming experience.
  • 3-5 years of software development or technical implementation experience.
  • Strong programming experience, ideally with Python.
  • Experience working within Unix/Linux environments.
  • Previous experience on customer-facing software or implementation projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and software development fundamentals.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently communicate technical concepts to customers.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Python development or scripting experience.
  • Shell scripting and SQL.
  • Experience with complex enterprise software or ERP implementations.
  • Experience with Scrum, SAFe, or similar Agile environments.
  • Functional programming experience.
