Lead the Future of Planning Excellence at Cubis
Cubis Systems (A CRH Company) delivers end-to-end underground access and infrastructure protection solutions for the telecommunications, transport and energy sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead our national planning function and drive best-practice supply chain performance across our manufacturing network.
Reporting to the Head of Supply & Operational Excellence, this role will play a critical part in strengthening planning capability, optimising inventory performance, embedding robust S&OP processes and ensuring efficient delivery from procurement through to customer fulfilment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the national planning function across demand, supply and production planning.
- Drive capacity planning and inventory performance across the manufacturing network.
- Standardise planning processes, governance and reporting.
- Improve system utilisation, planning visibility and decision-making.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sales and Finance to deliver service, cost and inventory outcomes.

- Improved forecast accuracy and planning discipline.
- Optimised inventory levels and working capital performance.
- Reliable production plans aligned to customer demand.
- Enhanced customer service and On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance.

About You
You are an experienced planning leader with a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain and operational excellence. You thrive on building robust systems and processes, using data to make decisions, and influencing stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement across the business.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years' experience in supply chain, demand or production planning within a manufacturing, industrial or distribution environment.
- Proven experience leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and translating demand into effective supply and production plans.
- Strong understanding of inventory optimisation, replenishment planning and working capital management.
- Experience improving planning systems, processes and reporting through ERP/MRP platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to embed end-to-end planning disciplines across procurement, manufacturing and customer delivery.
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple functions.
