About the Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile plant equipment, with a strong focus on CAT machinery. You’ll play an important role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining high safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on CAT equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Perform component changes, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
- Identify equipment issues and implement effective repair solutions
- Maintain accurate service records and follow site procedures
- Work safely and collaboratively with the maintenance team
Essential Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant Technology
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working on CAT equipment
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current driver's licence
- Availability to work a 7:7 roster
