We are looking for a Finance & Systems Manager to run our accounts end to end and bring strong technology skills to the finance function. You will report directly to the General Manager. Permanent full-time, starting January 2027.
Key responsibilities
Run full-cycle accounts in Xero across two entities, including intercompany: payables, receivables, deposits, debtor follow-up and supplier payments
Reconcile bank accounts and debtors weekly; reconcile company card and expense claims
Process weekly and fortnightly payroll, with super paid on time with each pay run
Calculate monthly sales incentive bonuses for General Manager approval
Complete month-end close and prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports with results against budget
Prepare the annual budget with the General Manager and track budget against actual
Prepare weekly reporting for the Sales, Operations and Finance & Admin meetings
Prepare BAS, PAYG and other ATO obligations for lodgement through our external accountant, and support year-end accounts
Manage compliance items including insurances, licence renewals and registrations; maintain supplier agreements and the asset register
Administer Xero and its links to our quoting and workflow management system and CRM
Maintain our IT registers and coordinate IT requests with our IT partner
Document finance procedures and use automation to reduce manual work
About you
Full-cycle accounts experience in Xero, including payroll, BAS and month-end
Multi-entity and intercompany experience
Experience preparing management reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet and budgets
Strong IT skills; confident with cloud software and keeping systems records accurate
Advanced Excel
Organised, accurate, discreet and a clear communicator
Accounting qualification, or CPA or CA study
Experience with a range of business systems, such as accounting, CRM and cloud software, including working with an IT provider
