Experienced Bookkeeper / BAS Agent
Maroochydore | 2–3 days per week | School hours available
Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a flexible role in a small, family-owned practice?
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused bookkeeper/BAS agent to join our Maroochydore team. The role will initially be 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity to increase to 5 days per week for the right applicant. School hours are available.
About the role
You’ll support our clients with their day-to-day bookkeeping needs, including:
- Processing transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Processing payroll and superannuation.
- Assisting with BAS preparation and lodgement, as appropriate to your qualifications and registration.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients.
About you
Previous bookkeeping experience is essential. We’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong attention to detail and sound organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
- A friendly, professional manner and clear communication skills.
- Experience using accounting software, Xero preferred with MYOB being a bonus.
- A commitment to confidentiality and quality client service.
- BAS agent registration and/or relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications would be highly regarded.
