IMPLEMENTAR CONSULTORES SRL is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with expertise in optimising logistics processes and layouts for large distribution centres. The candidate should be a university graduate in Industrial Engineering or Logistics, with no less than 5 years of experience in similar positions within high-turnover medicinal product laboratories, automotive parts industries, supermarkets, high-turnover chemical product companies, or refrigerated products.
This position reports to the Process Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing and redesigning layouts for very large and complex warehouses (Distribution Centres).
- Study, evaluate, and implement optimal logistics flow, considering seasonal rotation and supply logistics.
- Plan the physical space of the warehouse to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
- Survey and control sensitive variables affecting slotting.
- Configure logistics systems.
- Propose redesigns of racks and warehouse locations.
- Lead the implementation of continuous improvement processes/systems in the sector.
- Experience in operations of large volumes.
- Proven knowledge in continuous production processes, TPM, continuous improvement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
