As we continue our rapid expansion in the industry, an exciting opportunity has emerged within our NT and WA operations for a highly skilled and trade-qualified Drill Fitter. This position provides career progression opportunity to be leading hand or supervisor. Be part of our thriving team and make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry!
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on repairs and preventive maintenance on drill rigs, vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment as per OEM guidelines
- Carrying out mechanical Managing breakdowns of equipment and vehicles to maximize operational productivity
- Managing and overseeing data input and output in maintenance system (MEX)
- Development and training of fitters or drillers
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Qualifications: Cert III in Mechanical or Auto or Electrician Trade qualifications.
- Experience: Proven proficiency in drill rig repair and maintenance.
- Skills: Preferably adept at hydraulic problem-solving.
- Additional Assets: Trade qualification in Diesel/Automotive/Mechanical disciplines, 3+ years of repair and maintenance experience, and field service experience (desirable but not essential).
