Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific is looking for an exceptional Director of Rooms to join our Executive Leadership Team and help lead one of the Central Coast's premier beachfront resorts and conference destinations. With 199 guest rooms and suites, extensive meetings and events facilities, and a wonderfully diverse mix of leisure, corporate, conference and VIP guests, there's never a dull moment. From creating seamless guest arrivals to delivering exceptional stays and ensuring every detail is just right, you'll play a key role in bringing the Crowne Plaza experience to life.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll lead the Rooms Division across Housekeeping, Front Office, Reception, Reservations, VIP Services, Health Club and Engineering. Your leadership team will include the Director of VIP Services, Chief Engineer, Housekeeping Manager and Reservations & Reception Manager. This is a role for someone who can think strategically, roll up their sleeves when needed and bring people along for the journey. You'll drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, financial performance, asset management and continuous improvement, all while helping create a workplace where people feel supported, motivated and proud of what they do.

We're looking for an accomplished hotel leader who knows that great results come from great people. Someone who can balance the big picture with the finer details, lead with confidence and warmth, and turn business goals into outstanding guest experiences. Experience with IHG Hotels & Resorts, including its systems, brand standards and commercial programmes, will be a definite advantage.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Leadership that makes a difference. Proven senior hotel leadership experience, ideally spanning multiple Rooms Division departments.
  • A passion for people. A track record of coaching, developing and inspiring large, diverse teams to do their best work.
  • Commercial smarts. Confidence managing budgets, forecasts, labour costs and departmental performance, with a focus on delivering strong results.
  • A hands-on approach. You're comfortable setting the strategy and getting out on the floor to see how things are going.
  • A guest-first mindset. You understand that the little details often make the biggest difference.
  • A continuous improvement mindset. You're always looking for better ways to work, stronger ways to lead and opportunities to elevate the guest experience.
  • The ability to bring people together. Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Operational know-how. Experience leading complex hotel or resort operations across accommodation, guest services and supporting departments.
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
  • IHG experience. Familiarity with IHG systems, brand standards and commercial programmes will be highly regarded.

What's in it for you?

We believe great people deserve great experiences, too. At IHG Hotels & Resorts, we want you to feel just as welcome and supported as the guests you look after. Here's a taste of what you can look forward to:

  • Hotel stays worth looking forward to. Enjoy impressive room discounts across our global IHG portfolio.
  • Room to grow. Access training, development and opportunities to build your career with a global hospitality brand.
  • Support to be your best. Be part of a collaborative environment where your contribution is valued and your ideas matter.
  • A team where you belong. Work alongside people who bring different experiences, perspectives and ideas to the table.

And, of course, a competitive salary that recognises the experience and leadership you bring to the role.

Why Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific?

At IHG, we believe everyone deserves the room to belong, grow and make a difference. We celebrate individuality, welcome diverse perspectives and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities in accordance with applicable legislation.
