We're working with businesses delivering a diverse range of projects, including residential subdivisions, urban development, local roads, bulk earthworks, drainage and general civil infrastructure.
These opportunities will suit Project Managers who understand civil construction, enjoy being closely involved with project delivery and can confidently manage people, programmes and commercial outcomes.
With strong project pipelines and genuine opportunities for career progression, we're keen to speak with Project Managers or Senior Project Engineers looking to step up.
The Opportunity
We have opportunities available for Project Managers to take responsibility for the delivery of subdivision and general civil construction projects across South East Queensland.
Depending on the business and project, you'll oversee civil works from early planning and mobilisation through to construction, completion and handover.
You'll work closely with Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors and construction crews, ensuring projects are effectively planned, properly resourced and delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
The projects include:
- Residential and industrial subdivisions
- Urban development and civil infrastructure
- Bulk earthworks and site preparation
- Stormwater drainage and underground services
- Local road construction and upgrades
- Pavements, kerbing and associated civil works
- General civil construction packages
These positions offer the opportunity to take genuine ownership of project delivery while working with experienced construction teams.
We're interested in speaking with Project Managers or Senior Project Engineers who enjoy the practical side of construction, understand how to get the best out of their teams and want to continue developing their careers.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the delivery of subdivision, urban development and general civil construction projects
- Oversee earthworks, drainage, roadworks, pavements, utilities and associated civil packages
- Develop and manage project programmes, construction methodologies and resource plans
- Coordinate Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, plant and suppliers
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting and commercial performance
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement and contract administration
- Manage variations, progress claims and contractual obligations
- Liaise with developers, clients, consultants, local authorities and other stakeholders
- Monitor construction progress and resolve delivery challenges
- Ensure works comply with relevant drawings, specifications and quality requirements
- Maintain strong safety and environmental standards across projects
- Identify project risks and implement practical solutions
- Mentor and support Engineers and other project personnel
- Drive successful project outcomes from commencement through to handover
About You
To succeed, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer delivering civil construction projects in Australia
- Strong experience across subdivisions, urban development or general civil infrastructure
- Practical understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements, utilities and road construction
- Demonstrated experience managing construction teams, subcontractors and project resources
- Strong planning, programming and construction sequencing capability
- Commercial experience including budgeting, forecasting, variations and cost management
- Experience working with developers, local councils, consultants or civil infrastructure clients
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and contractual documentation

- A practical, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and project delivery
- Ability to take ownership of projects and drive positive outcomes
We're particularly interested in Project Managers or Senior Project Engineers who have developed their careers within civil construction and understand the challenges of delivering subdivisions and general civil works. You don't need to have worked exclusively in subdivisions. If you have a strong background in earthworks, drainage, local roads or broader civil construction, we'd welcome a conversation.
