The Role
You’ll lead the delivery of commercial office fitouts from mobilisation through to handover, with projects typically ranging from $500K to $10M.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of your projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
End-to-end delivery of multiple simultaneous fitout projects — manage program, budget, quality and safety.
Manage subcontractors and consultants (scope, procurement, variations and performance).
Prepare/approve progress claims, variations, and contractor invoices; manage cost control and forecasting.
Maintain strong client relationships and lead regular site/client meetings.
Ensure WHS compliance on site and maintain quality control processes.
Produce and maintain project documentation (RFI, meeting minutes, handover packs, close-out).
Mentor site teams and coordinate with estimating/pre-construction as required.
Must-Have
5+ years’ experience delivering commercial fitouts (office fitouts preferred). Broader civil construction experience also valued.
Proven track record managing projects in the $500K–$10M range. Experience with projects $20M+ highly valued as well.
Strong commercial acumen — experience with cost control, claims, and managing variations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant trade or tertiary qualification (e.g. Construction Management, Building or equivalent) and valid White Card.
Full Australian working rights.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with contract types common to fitout and construction (e.g. AS forms, head contracts).
Proficiency with project management platforms such as Procore.
Current NSW driver's licence or willingness to travel to sites across Sydney and NSW.
