Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Provide recovery-focused, person-centred care.
- Administer and monitor medications safely.
- Respond to acute mental health presentations and crises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning and discharge coordination.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
- Support consumers, families, and carers throughout their recovery journey.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Minimum 2-3 years post-registration Mental Health Nursing experience in the UK / Irish Healthcare system.
- Experience within inpatient, acute, community, crisis, or rehabilitation mental health settings.
- Hold, or be eligible for, AHPRA registration.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
