This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in manufacturing and engineering. Full on-the-job training will be provided to learn how to set up and operate CNC and Doosan machinery. The successful applicant will begin as a casual employee, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent full-time position for the right person.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with general factory duties.
- Learn to set up and operate CNC and Doosan machinery.
- Load and unload materials and finished components.
- Perform quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet customer deadlines.

- Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn.
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Has good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Enjoys working in a small team environment.
- Can follow instructions and work independently once trained.
- Is physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Previous manufacturing or factory experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Reliable transport and ability to commute to Heidelberg West, VIC 3081.
- Ability to undertake manual work and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
