Situated in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, with views out over the river to Southbank, the ibis Styles Brisbane is a modern, stylish hotel catering for both business and leisure guests. With 367 rooms, ibis Styles Brisbane is one of the largest hotels in Brisbane City. We are looking for our next Part-time Food & Beverage Attendant to join the ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street team.
With a combination of breakfast, lunch and dinner service as well as conferencing job tasks, this role has plenty of variety. You'll work alongside the Venue Manager to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your role includes but isn't limited to the following tasks:
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service to our guests
- Assist in the daily operations across the restaurant, bar and conferencing events when required
- Ensure all guests receive prompt, professional and friendly service at all times
- Promote Accor’s Heartist service culture and create memorable guest experiences across all shifts
- Greet guests, take orders and provide attentive table service
- Prepare and serve coffees to brand standards
- Set up, refill, maintain and clean buffet and coffee stations
- Assist with operational set-up, service and pack-down for restaurant and event operations
- Set up, refill and clean conference and event areas
- Upsell and promote hotel food and beverage offerings to maximise revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all F&B areas
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standard operating practices
- Work independently on shifts and support the Food & Beverage Duty Manager as required
This is a Part-time role, working across a rotating roster of 7 days per week, with working hours ranging from 6.00am through to 9.30pm.
Qualifications:
- Valid Australian RSA
- Previous experience in a hotel is preferred however not necessary
- Self-motivated and driven with a can-do attitude
- Full Australian Working Rights Required - this role is not available for sponsorship
