As a Junior Payroll Consultant, you will support a portfolio of clients and learn the full end-to-end payroll process under the guidance of experienced team members.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
- Supporting client portfolios with routine payroll tasks
- Learning to process terminations, redundancies, bonuses, and other ad hoc calculations
- Assisting with superannuation and payroll tax calculations and lodgements
- Contributing to month-end processing and reporting
- Providing friendly and responsive client service
- Learning to work across Payroll Metrics and other cloud-based payroll platforms
About you
- Has some experience in payroll, HR, or accounting (or is a recent graduate)
- Is organised and attentive to detail
- Communicates well, both verbally and in writing
- Works well in a supportive team environment
- Is motivated to learn and grow professionally
