Join our friendly team in Armidale as a Medical Receptionist. This casual role offers shifts from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am-5.00pm, with schedules determined by operational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check‑in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, DVA, hospitalbilling and private health fund billings.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in the medical industry would be highly advantageous.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with interventional bookings and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
- Relevant reception experience.
- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
