Hygarde Water Australia – Wetherill Park NSW
At Hygrade Water, we are dedicated to excellence in the water infrastructure industry. As part of our strategic growth plan, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for a NSW Business Development Manager to join our expanding team in NSW. This proactive role predominantly targets the Water & Waste Water Markets, identifying key projects early and influencing specification and product approvals.
Through a strategic approach, you will increase revenue in your territory, build key customer relationships, identify opportunities, and maintain an extensive knowledge of current projects and market conditions. It is expected that you will identify key projects, end-users, civil contractors, and tier one contractors relating to strategic products and ensure our products are approved and specified for use in all required applications and associated projects. Presentations to consultants and key customers for product awareness will be a large part of this role for continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide leadership and support to the Hygrade Water Sales Team and wider market, ensuring that the company’s vision is achieved.
- Sales Activity: Manage sales/project activity across mainly NSW & ACT but not limited. Coordinate and communicate strategic direction to the Sales team, responsible for ensuring sales targets are achieved, revenue and margin maximised, and forecasts are accurate.
- Sales Opportunities: Ensure sales opportunities are identified early and work with the sales team to form a strategic coordinated approach that ensures agreed strike rates are achieved.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and specifiers. Prospect and target customers with the sales team for increased growth. Establish business plans to ensure effective customer management.
- Product Specification: Specification of strategic products through regular contact with consultants and specifiers, water authorities, and councils.
- Industry Representation: Ensure that we are adequately represented at agreed trade shows and in important industry groups and organisations.
You will be responsible for all projects and strategic customers within the territory and build your relationship and awareness of Hygrade Water with these identified customers. Although you will be supported on a day-to-day level by our internal sales marketing team and project coordinator, you will be responsible, with assistance, for all substantial quotes & tender preparation and submissions in your territory, personal marketing on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, customer mailouts targeted specifically for your territory, and managing Hygrade CRM to keep up to date for your area.
You will provide guidance and assistance to the National Sales Manager and/or Supply Chain Manager on specific products identified for future growth, changes in the market, increased competition, price-related matters, and keep up to date with warehouse stocks to support your market.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and help shape the future of Hygrade Water, we’d love to hear from you.
