We’re partnering with a leading advertising business to find a Data Business Analyst to join its Data & Audience team.
This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of data, advertising and measurement, helping deliver reporting solutions that demonstrate campaign performance across multiple channels.
The Role
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers and cross-functional teams to support data pipelines and post-campaign reporting solutions.
You’ll help ensure data is connected, understood and translated into meaningful insights that demonstrate advertising performance.
Key responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear functional requirements and documentation.
- Support the development and improvement of data pipelines underpinning campaign measurement and reporting.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data flows accurately across systems and reporting solutions.
- Help define measurement requirements and reporting methodologies across advertising campaigns.
- Work across out-of-home, email marketing, in-store, online and off-network advertising channels.
- Navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities and build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
About You
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who combines strong stakeholder management skills with an understanding of data, reporting and the advertising landscape.
You’ll ideally have
- Experience as a Business Analyst within media, advertising, ad tech or a similar environment.
- An understanding of data pipelines, data flows, reporting and measurement methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the confidence to work through ambiguity.
- An interest in how data and measurement can improve advertising performance.
Experience within an advertising or ad tech business will be highly regarded.
You don't need to be a highly technical BA or have a data science background – an understanding of how data flows through systems and supports reporting is key.
If you have a background in business analysis, data and advertising, we’d love to hear from you!
