We have an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Lawyer to join our highly regarded and growing Darwin office. Working within a close-knit and collaborative team, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of matters across:
- Commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Medical negligence disputes
- Workers' compensation matters
- Banking and finance disputes
- Construction and infrastructure disputes
- Contract disputes
- Estate matters
- Regulatory investigations
- Administrative law and judicial review matters
- Child welfare work
- Historical abuse and institutional liability claims
- Insolvency and debt recovery
- Employment dispute resolution
- Native title dispute resolution
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have:
- 2+ years PAE within commercial litigation
- Experience advising and representing clients in high-stakes disputes
- Exposure to the Northern Territory jurisdiction is desirable but not essential
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
